CHAPTER ONE: POWER

I woke up in the midst of a battle going on, one with my own thoughts and a actual rebellion. I wasn't sure how I ended up on the ground. All could I remember I was that leading my own army into a building, a building of power.. greed.. and people who lose themselves to a state of dementia. I don't what it is, its like there were lines in the wall that glowed. Maybe.. Maybe I was being overwhelmed by this sense of dementia. It was just a urge in me to get this power. I had to get it. I had flashbacks running through my mind of this secret island where me and two others found a relic in a non-disclosed location. The dammed relic kept flashing in my mind, was this a sign that I should return to the island? I got up , stumbling and bleeding. It was like I was outside of time for a moment, everybody was in the middle of warfare and I somehow wasn't harmed. My hands showed lines in them as I touched the walls to keep from falling. What was this madness? I grabbed a dagger off the ground and suddenly came back to my senses. A man charged at me with a gun but I easily dodged him, my agileness was rusty but too rusty. I flung the dagger at the back of the attackers head and then suddenly I was back in that state of mind. I dropped to my knees. I felt weak. My heart was beating faster and faster and faster, I didn't know what do, all I could do was cry for some odd reason. My eyes flashed white, the ominous flashbacks of the relic returned this time clearer. Pieces were starting to form in my mind. Something grabbed my shoulder, a bald man with the same marks as me. He grinned and dragged me away, after that I went unconscious and woke up on a boat...

To be continued.
