1st February 2013

A tall solidly built man walked out of Alderney State Correctional Facility and looked down the road and then turned his head and looked up the road, flicking his long brown messy hair as he did, a slight smile appeared on his mouth surrounded by a perfectly kept beard. He waited for the bus he just spotted to stop.

He boarded the bus casually and sat down in an open seat, putting his bag next to him, he leaned back in the seat and relaxed, breathed deeply and sighed a sigh of relief, he was free. The bus traveled through Alderney and the man had to switch buses near the Booth Tunnel, that bus would eventually take him home.

Around lunch time, the man walked off the bus and walked the short distance from the bus stop to his parents home, the only home he's ever known. Other than prison. He walked inside and went to the kitchen, he chucked his bag on the dinning table that was in the middle of the kitchen and got himself a glass of water.

..."What the **** are doing in my house!" A middle aged man with long greyish black hair shouted while holding a pistol towards the man.

The man turned around and looked at old man in a leather cut-off jacket holding a pistol at him, his cut off was that of a Lost Brotherhood member and it was covered in patches and badges. The two looked very similar in the face and even in body shape.

..."Dad, it's me" The man said.

The old man lowered his pistol as he facial expression changed... "James?" He muttered.

..."James, it is you!" The Old Man said.

..."Yes dad, it's me" James said to his father.

..."Good to see ya' son, how was you're stint?" James's father asked.

..."Long..." James said.

..."That's prison for you, ha ha ha" The Old man said with a chuckle... "We need to celebrate!" His dad said and went to the fridge and took a whiskey bottle from the top of it as well as two shots glasses. They sat down at the dining table and the Old man poured the both of them a shot each. Then a phone rang, the old man answered it and put it loud speaker.

..."Tommy, no time to explain. ****'s gone down, Pres, wants everybody at the clubhouse right now" The man on the other end explained.

..."****, alright I'll be there" Tommy said and ended the call.

..."Sorry James, we'll celebrate tonight" Tommy told his son.

..."Tommy picked up his shot glass held it towards James, James picked up his and they clinked the glasses.

..."To you're lovely mother, god rest her soul" Tommy said and they both downed their shots simultaneously. Tommy jogged outside got his on his Harley and took off, the sound of the chopper reminded James of something. He got up from the dining table and walked out the back door of the house and into the garage, his large tool box was sitting in the corner, next to the bike he was building.

He was working for one of the best Motorcycle Companies on the East Coast he threw it all away because he couldn't deal with his personal life, at least the company he worked for had the decency to return all his stuff. One bad thing happened, and it was downward spiral until he ended up in a prison cell.

James walked back in the house out of the cold air and sat in the Living room on the old leather couch and turned the TV on and channel surfed before falling asleep watching a rerun of Law and Order.

James woke to sound of gunfire he groaned and looked at the TV to see what he was watching, Law and Order was still on and they were talking in Court, then he realized the gun fire was real, he rushed out in the hallway and seen bullets piercing through the front door, he rushed into the kitchen and bullets were flying through the entire front wall of the house.

A bullet just missed him and dropped to the ground covered his head as the gun fire continued for a bit and then stopped, James got up and went to the window and saw men in masks coming from a van parked on the road, he hid under the table and watched as one came to the kitchen window and chucked a Molotov Cocktail in and rushed off.

The Kitchen caught fire quickly, and smoke alarms started going off, James rushed out of the kitchen and noticed the bedroom at the front of the house was also burning, he went for the front door, he opened it and ran out, the van had sped off, he ran down to the footpath and started screaming for someone to call the Fire brigade.

Then he remember the photo albums, as a car stopped and the driver dialled his mobile phone, James sprinted back into the house and into the Living room, he went into a small cabinet under the TV and grabbed the two big photo albums sitting there and rushed back outside as more and more of the house started to burn.

All James could do was watch as the police turned up to reports of gun shots and the Fire Brigade and Ambulance arrived together, he watched as the Fire Brigade extinguished the blaze, but by the time it was out, the house was gutted and beyond repair, all that remained was the brick exterior walls.

..."Excuse me. We just need to take some details and we'll be on our way" A cop explained to James.

..."Alright" James said while looking at the remains of his child hood home.

..."Name, Date of Birth and place of employment"

..."James Doyle, July 15th 1991 and I'm unemployed"

..."Contact details?"

..."826 555 0100" James rattled off after remembering the spare mobile phone he kept in his tool box.

..."What were you doing when this all happened?"

..."I was asleep in the Living Room" James explained

..."What woke you up?"

..."The smoke alarm, I got up to see what it was and noticed the kitchen and the front bedroom was on fire" James explained.

..."We have numerous reports of shots being fired" The cop stated.

..."I had the TV going when I fell asleep, I assumed it was on the TV" James lied.

..."Alright thank you Mister Doyle, we'll be in contact" The Cop said and both he and his partner got in the police cruiser and drove away leaving James standing on the side of the road next to the burned out shell of a house.

James sighed and walked through the cold night air, around the back and into the garage, he dragged an old plastic chair to the corner, next to his tool, sat down and curled up in the chair and tried to sleep in the chair in the dimly lit garage.

2nd February 2013

James got out of the chair and stretched and yawned. He retrieved his mobile from the tool box and turned it on, he noticed underneath it, was 30 dollars, he took that as well and stuffed his phone and cash into his pocket and walked out of the garage in to the warm sun. He stretched again even groaning while doing it.

James hopped over the small concrete fence and walked around the corner and up the street, he rubbed his eyes as he walked. He remember a small diner near by and headed there; hoping to get a cheap meal. He walked into the diner and went right up to the counter and looked at menu on the blackboard hanging high on the wall behind the counter.

..."Hello sir, may I get you anything?" A woman behind the counter asked. James swallowed and cleared his throat.

..."Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a coffee" He said..."Please" He added.

..."Sure that'll be ready for you in a second" She said with a lovely smile that made James smile. James handed her the 10 dollar note and took a seat at the table closest to the counter. He put his head in his hands and started thinking about where he was going to sleep that night.

..."Here you go sir" The young woman said as she gave James his bacon, egg and cheese roll and his coffee.

..."Thank you, and it's James" He said. She smiled again and walked back behind the counter to serve the next customer that had just walked in the door.

James smiled and thought about her cheerful smile, it had brightened his day. He ate his meal and left the diner and walked back to ruins of his house and started searching for anything that might have survived, turns out the the back bedroom on the bottom story survived (Partially). He opened the door the scorched black door and looked around, a bed against the back wall was not burned at all.

He took it out into the garage piece by piece, and then he took the mattress followed by sheets, blankets and pillows, at least he had a bed now. He found a battery powered radio in the closet and a stashed bottle of whiskey, this room once belonged to his older sister, so he expected to find forgotten cash, weed, alcohol and he hoped she had taken all her sex toys with her, when she moved out.

After hours of searching what was left of the house (Mostly anything along the back wall) He had made himself a little home in the garage, with a bed, two bottles of whiskey, a bag of weed, he intended to sell, because smoking weed was one of the many contributing factors to him ending up in prison for four years.

He now had 40 dollars in notes and 5 dollars in change, from scavenging from the house. The radio was set up on top of an old garden table, that was sitting on the side of the road next to a few trash bags. It was starting to get dark and James decided to go and get a drink, so he started walking to the Steinway Beer Garden a few blocks East.

The place was packed, way more than he remembered it ever being, he walked through the crowd of people into the bar itself and sat down at the bar.

..."What'll ya have?" The Bar Tender asked.

..."Logger" James said, the bar tender was quick about it and handed James an opened bottle of Logger Beer.

..."Thanks... Hey you don't know where I could pick up some quick cash?" James asked the Bar Tender.

..."Can ya fight matey?" He asked after looking James over.

..."I learned in the best training center in Alderney" James joked.

..."What is that?" The Bar Tender asked.

..."Alderney State Correctional Facility" James said with a slight chuckle.

..."Oh... ha ha ha ha ha!" The Bar Tender laughed in his thick Irish accent.

..."Go through the back door here, sometimes someone will offer a random challenge, you get paid 50 bucks and a free trip to the hospital if you lose. You get a lot more if you win" The Bar Tender explained.

..."Alright, thank you" James said. He paid for his beer and strolled through the back door and seen a square mat in the middle of the room, surrounded by a waist high chain link fence. He got to a spot he could see from and watch the first fight.

It was rather quick as one guy got a big right hook in early and knocked his opponent out cold.

..."Your winner: Mr Grunge!" Someone shouted through a megaphone, James noticed a lot of betting and cash flow around the ring, He guessed that was how they paid the fighters.

..."That was nothing, I'm offering an open challenge to anybody who thinks they can take me" Mr Grunge shouted.

..."I'll take him!" James shouted.

..."Come on down!" The same guy yelled in the megaphone.

James rushed down the ring and jumped the chain link fence around it the guy with the Megaphone came over to him and spoke quietly to James.

..."Knock him out, keep him grounded for ten seconds with out touching him or getting to him to give up, gives you win, no pokes in the eye, nothing below the belt, if you kill him, you have to get rid of the body, where are you from and what's your stage name?".

..."Um... Jimbo" James stated... "What do I get if I win?".

..."500 dollars" The mega phone guy said.

..."Shirt off, shoes off, taped fists" The Megaphone guy explained and then the referee came over and started taping up James's fists.

..."Introducing the challengers, you all know Mr Grunge and his opponent fresh out of the Aldereny State Correctional facility, weighing in at rough 230 pounds. Jimboooo!" The megaphone guy shouted... "Fight!" He yelled and bailed out of the ring.

..."Mr Flanagan, would you like to place a bet?" One of the bookies asked.

..."Give me 400 on Jimbo" Mr Flanagan said.

..."Those are big odds" The Bookie said.

..."Slow week, gotta pay my crew" Mr Flanagan said.

Jimbo and Grunge met in the middle of the ring and both took big right hand swings at each other....

2nd February 2013

They both connected with their rights hands, causing each to stumble backwards. They met face to face again in the middle of the ring and Grunge gave an uppercut to James's stomach, James stepped backwards and leaned forwards a little bit and Grunge punched James in the side of the head, knocking him to the floor. Grunge went after James, but he grabbed Grunge by the arm and flipped Grunge over himself and onto the floor as well.

James got up quickly and tackled Grunge to the ground and tried to put him in a choke hold he'd seen in a movie once, but he couldn't get it on properly and Grunge elbowed his way out of it and made space between himself and James. He and James had a stand off before James tried to tackle Grunge and Grunge slammed Jame's head into the chain mesh and then drove his knee in Jame's face, causing his right upper check to swell up around a large cut.

James pulled Grunge's feet out from under him and laid a big hay maker on Grunge, before Grunge could try to hit back, James gave another one, busting open Grunge's eyebrow. Grunge blocked the third hit and punched James in the chin which caused James to fall of him, they both got up and rushed each other again.

Grunge tried to tackle James, but James countered it and got Grunge in a sleep hold, Grunge pushed James off him and into the chain mesh and then kicked him in the back and James fell over the chain mesh fence and hit the hard concrete floor on the outside of the ring. Grunge showed off inside the ring as James slowly got his feet.

Grunge went over to James to get him back in the ring, but James was faking and bashed Grunge's head against the pipe that was on top of the chain mesh. James reached over the fence and decked Grunge, who fell flat on his back.

James climbed onto the fence and balanced for a second and then jumped onto Grunge, as James rolled off of Grunge, he went straight for his ribs and laid on the ground holding his ribs. James got up and looked Grunge on the ground riving in pain. The referee started the count and James stepped back and waited. Grunge got up by 7 and tried to box James, he got one successful shot in, before James broke his nose and sent him to the ground unconscious.

..."He's down, winner is Jimbo" The Referee said to the megaphone guy.

..."Your winner: Jimboooo!" The Megaphone guy shouted into his megaphone as everybody groaned about the money they just lost.

..."Alright clear the ring, we still got more fights" The Megaphone guy said.

James got out of the ring and grabbed his boots and jacket and was given his prize money and small first aid kit as he reward for winning. James put his boots on and started walking for the door. When he was grabbed by two men and escorted out the door and sat down at a table, then a man who looked to be in his mid 40's sat down at the table with them and 2 more guys, stood at the end of the table.

..."What the **** is this?" James said with his heart racing.

..."Son, you just made me a lot of money in there?" Mr Flanagan said with a smile on his face.

..."What.. huh. why... I don't understand" James stuttered, not comprehending the situation.

One of the guys who originally grabbed James, opened his first aid kit he got with his prize money and started working on the cut on James's cheek that was trickling blood down his face and starting to swell up.

..."What the hell are you doing?" James asked, trying to move his face away.

..."Hold still, I'm fixing this cut up for you" He said.

..."I'm confused" James said.

..."Yeah we got that" One of the guys at the end of the table said.

..."Look Grunge will tell you, he's only lost 2 of his last 9 fights, but he isn't including the 11 he fought in Algonquin before he moved to Dukes, when I seen you go to the ring, I knew you'd beat him, I put all my remaining money on you, and now, I can pay my crew this week, thank you!" Mr Flanagan explained.

..."You're welcome..." James said.

Mr Flanagan looked at around at his boys and looked at James, examining him.

..."What's you're name son?" Mr Flanagan asked.

..."James" James said.

..."James... ?" One of Mr Flanagan's guys gestured with his hand to continue.

..."Doyle. James Doyle" James said cautiously.

..."I'm Mr Flanagan, the guy fixing you up is Arnie, the guy sitting next to me is Ryan, the guy at the end with the buzz cut is Perry and standing next to him with the gold tooth is Simon" Mr Flanagan introduced himself and his crew nicely.

..."Look James, I want you meet us here tomorrow night, until then, enjoy this, as a thank you" Mr Flanagan said and handed James a wad of ten dollar notes. Mr Flanagan got up and Ryan followed him. Arnie finished fixing up James's face.

..."Plenty of **** out tonight, spend that money wisely!" Arnie said in his voice that was very similar to Joe Pesci.

..."Aw ****. What the hell just happened?" James asked himself.

James ran his hands along his head and which flattened it out as well, he was trying to understand what just went down, but he figured he'd just joined a gang of Irishmen. Then a busty blonde woman sat down across from him.

..."I saw you fight in there, you got some sweet moves!" She said trying to be seductive. James was now surprised and a little more confused, he took a second to answer and just took a deep breath.

..."Thank you, always nice to speak to the fans" He joked and she giggled.

..."I'm Melissa" She introduced herself.

..."James" James said and then extended his had for handshake.

..."Um... your hand is covered in blood" Melissa pointed out. James turned his hand and looked at the blood from his recent fight on there.

..."Oh. Sorry" He said and then elegantly wiped his hand on his shirt and went for the handshake again. Which made Melissa laugh.

..."You wanna drink?" James asked.

..."That'd be lovely" Melissa said.

..."Eh! Two Loggers! and what'll you have?" James asked.

..."Oh that's old" Melissa said, but still having a chuckle at it, because she guessed he knew that but said it to be funny anyway, she was right.

..."Make it four Loggers" Melissa yelled.

..."Bring a 6 pack over" James yelled.

..."A 6 pack each" Melissa countered.

..."You're getting the whole fecking box!" The Bar tender said and dropped the case of beer on the table. Both James and Melissa laughed and James paid for it.

..."So what do you do?" James asked.

..."I'm a qualified hair dresser, and I'm **** good!" Melissa said... "You?" She asked James.

..."I'm world class prize fighter, why do you think I'm fighting in the bar room of an Irish Pub?" James joked.

..."No seriously, I'm looking for a job, I just need some cash until I get a job".

James and Melissa talked for hours and finished off the entire box of Logger Beer and walked out of bar together and both headed for Melissa's apartment. As they stumbled down the road, trying to stay upright they passed a group of drunk teenagers also out a Saturday Night stumble.

..."Hey, enjoy!" James yelled at them and threw the bag of weed he was going to sell to them and he and Melissa continued stumbling, the Teenagers drunkenly thanked them as they continued on.

---
..."hey Boss" Byron said as he walked into Mr Flanagan's den (That he uses as an office).

..."Yes, what did you find out?" Mr Flanagan asked.

..."James Robert Doyle, he's 22 in July, he was in Alderney State for four years on Drug Charges and Grand Theft Auto, apparently he has links to the Lost MC and he lives in Steinway" Byron said.

..."Sounds like a perfect fit for our organization" Mr Flanagan stated with a chuckle.

3rd February 2013

James awoke to the bright sun coming through the window, he kicked the blankets off and looked around the clean carpet floored room, he got up and stretched and then realized how soft that bed was. He grabbed his undies and pulled them on and then his jeans and walked out of the bedroom into a kitchen/dining room/living room.

..."Hey James" Melissa said while cooking bacon and eggs.

..."Good morning Melissa" James said as the night before starting coming back to him.

To begin with that was a kickass monologue but i should expect as much, your always putting thought and depth in your characters, jolly good indeed.

I read the first part bout the house burning down and the police showing up and i'm thinking to myself, what if they were still making GTA4 DLC and this was apart of it?

You really do love the biker scene, i never even learnt how to ride a bicyle and i'm too old to now.

I'm behind you 101% boss

Look at me... I'm burning...

Thanks OG, I took my time and didn't rush this, so I hope it is good.

The Bikers will be involved in this story, but they will be portrayed as the average outlaw biker, not the cleaned up version I used to write about.

You're never to old to learn how to ride bro.

I originally had planned a short version of the main characters life story at the beginning, but I though it would be better to leak details through the story, so you get to learn everything about him, as the story goes.

3rd February 2013

James moved things around the garage he was living in, since he left Melissa's he'd been to a Yard Sale and brought some furniture, a box of clothes and then went clothes and grocery shopping and spent almost everything he'd earned, he had a 100 dollars left and he needed to figure out how to make more, if he was going to survive.

He felt the swelling on his face and thought about doing another fight, he figured it was good money and he can fight. James left the garage and headed to the bar as the sun was setting over the city.

The Garage was now outfitted with a small bookshelf, a small wooden coffee table, a small fridge and a large floor mat, they were all scratched and or stained, but he got them cheaply which was the important thing to James.

The streets around Steinway were rather quiet which was usual for a Sunday afternoon, James walked into the Beer Garden and looked around, not seeing Mr Flanagan around, he continued on and went into the bar, he looked around in there and didn't see him, so he sat down at the bar and the same bar tender from the previous night came over to him.

..."Logger?" The Bar Tender asked.

..."Yeah" James said with a nod.

..."Alright" The Bar Tender said and went over got a bottle of Logger from the fridge and brought it James.

..."Hey those fights last night?" James asked.

..."Yeah?" The Bar Tender said.

..."Who do I see about getting in, on them?" James asked. The Bar Tender looked around the bar for a few seconds.

..."His name is Martin Shyskee, I think he's out back, packing up his ring" The Bar Tender explained.

..."Thanks" James said and took his beer and walked through the back door into the room, it was a lot smaller than he James though it was, he though it just looked small because of the amount of people packed in there on the previous night.

..."Hey can I help you?" A chubby guy in a track suit asked James.

..."I'm looking for Martin Shyskee?" James stated

..."Over there!" The guy pointed.

James walked over to a tall fat guy with a ponytail who was abusing one of his employees over not collecting entrance fees at the door like he should've been, instead sitting at the bar and drinking all night. After the arguement the employee told Martin to go **** himself and left.

..."Can I help you?" Martin asked James.

..."Well, I'm looking to get in on these fights" James stated.

..."As a fighter?" Martin asked.

..."Yeah, I need the money, I can do it, why not?" James said. Martin looked James over and thought for a moment, about his own current situation and about how James fought in his fight.

..."Alright. Look, the way this works, is you come up with a fighting name, something better than Jimbo. I text you the time and location of our fights, you turn up and fight whoever I tell you to fight, you give me 50 from your prize money if you win, if you lose, better luck next time. And on the first of every month, you give me 300 dollars" Martin explained.

..."Sounds like a good deal, are we allowed to bet on ourselves in fights?" James asked.

..."No and you'll get in for free, where everybody who comes to watch, will pay 20 dollars to get in.

..."Well I got in for free last night?" James said.

..."Yeah that's why that guy was just fired" Martin stated.

..."Look, give me your number and just turn up, remember there are no shows, taped fists, no below the belt shots and no trying to kill your opponent" Martin said.

..."Alright, my number is 826 555 0100 and I'll see you whenever I see you next" James said. Martin nodded and walked away as did James.

James came out of the back room and saw Mr Flanagan, Ryan and 3 different guys from the first time they met. James walked over to them and sat down with them.

..."James Sean Doyle, born July 15th 1990, 4 years in Alderney State Correctional facility for 2 drug charges, an assault charge and grand theft auto charge" Mr Flanagan stated.

..."That's correct" James said while slightly irritated.

..."Look, you're a perfect fit for my crew, and I need good people, so do you want in?" Mr Flanagan asked.

..."So what are you like Irish Mafia?" James asked.

..."Do we look **** organized?" One of Mr Flanagan's guys stated.

..."Look we're a gang, we are hired hands for bigger gangs, one of my guys was arrested recently for ****, I need someone to replace him" Mr Flanagan explained.

..."It's good money, the work is pretty easy, we're small enough that if you keep your dick out of non consenting **** and or rectums, the police won't bother us" A guy with a Mohawk and a goatee stated. James looked at Mr Flanagan and then looked around the guys he had with him.

..."Do I have to shoot anyone?" James asked.

..."Not fatally" Ryan said.

..."Alright, not like I'm going to get a legitimate job anywhere that pays decently" James said.

..."Good, now we have 3 initiation tests for you to run before we can involve you in anything, you know, in case you're a cop" Mr Flanagan explained.

..."Well most of us don't, one guy we use to have with us, had quite a thing for them, as a matter of fact, he **** one" One lanky guy wearing a Liberty City Swingers Baseball cap said.

..."Well she wasn't actually a cop, she was just dressed as one" Ryan said.

..."Well she wasn't actually a she, she was he, but he looked a she, well she was hung like he, or vice versa" One guy wearing a leather jacket said.

..."So he **** a she-male dressed as a cop, under the belief he she was a real cop?" James summarized.

..."In the ass!" said the Average sized quiet guy who hadn't said anything since they'd been talking.

..."Yes, he also bit off one of she-he's nipples and ate it" Mr Flanagan added.

..."Um. That's not part of the Initiation is it?" James asked.

..."No... Yeah-No..." Mr Flanagan reached across the table and put his hand on James's shoulder... "If you did that, we'd probably have to have you committed" Mr Flanagan said.

..."But forget about that, we'd really like for you to do one of your initiations tonight" Mr Flanagan said.

..."O...Kay... what have I gotta do?" James asked.

..."Go with Ryan, he'll explain" Mr Flanagan said.

..."Come' on" Ryan said as he started walking.

James got up and walked out of the bar with him and through the beer garden, they walked out of the beer garden and got in a grey sedan together.

---------------------

..."So the quiet guy is Jesse, the guy with the Swingers hat is Oliver and the other guy with the van dyke growing is Max?" James asked.

..."Correct" Ryan said as they drove around.

..."Can we turn the radio on?" James asked after a few minutes of silence.

..."Put Liberty Rock or Radio Broker on, or leave it off" Ryan ordered.

..."Good" James said as he turned the radio on and left it playing in Liberty Rock Radio.

..."So why am I beating this guy up?" James asked as they drove through the dark night and drizzling rain.

..."Hey is a drug dealer, and he isn't paying Mr Flanagan to deal in East Island City which is Mr Flanagan's turf and he's drug dealer and we thought you'd like to kick a drug dealers teeth in" Ryan explained to James

They sat in the car in silence driving around East Island City looking for a drug dealer by the name of Jose. Ryan's phone rang as they past the scrap yard.

..."He's where?"
..."Alright we'll see you there"

Ryan hung up the phone and looked at James with a grin.

..."He's got a buddy watching his back, so you'll have to take both of them down, think you can handle that?"

..."Yeah, should be easy" James said confidently.

Ryan drove up into Steinway and drove to recently built apartment building that was next to a vacant lot filled with old cars and trash. Ryan pulled the Sedan up behind a Bobcat pickup truck and both Ryan and James got out of the sedan and walked to the passenger side window of the pick up.

..."Eh, he's down there, average size guys jackets, standing underneath some cover between the building and retaining wall" Jesse explained.

..."Alright, I'm going down there" James stated and then walked down, Ryan, Jesse and and Oliver quietly got out of the pick up and followed James as he walked down into the gap and walked towards the dealer and his body guard like he use to when he used to buy from dealers.

..."What's up son? What can I get for ya?" The dealer asked.

..."Some smash" James said

..."Some what?" The dealer asked.

James grabbed the Bodyguard by the shirt and rammed him into the dealer and then smashed him against the wall and let him fall to the ground. The dealer tried to attack James, but James gave him and uppercut and knocked him back and then James grabbed a lid of a near by trash can and bashed it over the dealers head and then again and then turned around and bent it in half over the bodyguards bloodies bald head.

James grabbed the dealer buy the shirt and threw him against the trash can and he crashed to the ground with the trash can, James picked him up and held him up by one hand and punched him in the cheek with one hand then gave 3 uppercuts straight into the dealers rib cage and then threw him once again, but this time at the Bodyguard, which sent both clambering against the wall. James gave a right hook and knocked the dealer to the ground once again and then elbowed the bodyguard in the head and drove his head into the concrete ground with something similar to a wrestling move.

..."Ha ha ha ha" Oliver laughed as Ryan, Jesse and himself walked over to James.

..."Jose. Listen, we will be happy to let you deal on our turf, but you gotta pay Mr Flanagan his cut and it's okay to have a Bodyguard, but get one that can actually fight" Oliver said to the dealer nicely.

Oliver held the dealer down, while Ryan and Jesse, took his money, drugs and his pistol, they also took the pistol from the Unconscious Bodyguard, the dealer looked up at the four men, due to the rain and the severity of the lacerations, his entire face and upper torso was covered in blood, as was the bodyguard.

..."This will do nicely as a repayment, so, you know how to get in contact with us, when you feel like dealing again, just let us know where and we'll come and collect our payment, okay?" Oliver explained.

..."Al...Al...Alright" The dealer choked.

..."Good" Oliver said and then rose up from his crouching position and walked away with Ryan, Jesse and James. They got back to the cars and stopped to talk.

..."Alright, James you did a real good job there, we'll give you a call tomorrow to do some errands for us, if you want?" Oliver said.

..."I need the money, so yeah my number is 826 555 0100" James said.

..."Good, we'll give you call, oh here, for your trouble" Oliver said and then held out some money in his hand. James smiled and took it.

..."Thanks" James said.

..."We'll give you a call" Oliver said as he got into the the pick up truck.

James walked back to his garage while counting the money.

4th February 2013

James walked out of his garage and headed to the diner near by where he brought a bacon and egg sandwich and checked the time on his phone, he had been called earlier that morning and told to be at the scrap yard in East Island City at 10:00am. James took his sandwich to go tipped the girl who served him because just like the other day she had a day brightening smile and very pleasant attitude.

James walked across the road that led to the bridge and down the grassy hill from Steinway to East Island City, he walked to an open garage where Oliver was waiting out front having a smoke.

..."James, good to see you buddy" Oliver said.

..."You to, you said you had some errands for me to do?" James said cutting straight the chase.

..."Yeah in the officer over there is Perry, talk to him" Oliver said pointing with the same hand he was holding his cigarette in.

..."Thanks" James said.

James walked into the garage and looked around, it looked disorganized with oil stains and metal dust on the floor, 44 gallon drums cut in half and full of old oil, tools scattered from one end of the garage to the other and the most high tech item in the garage was the big stereo that was locked on Liberty Rock Radio.

..."**** useless piece of ****!" Someone yelled from under one of the vehicles they were working on.

James knocked on the door frame of the office and stuck his head through the open door and nodded at Perry who was sitting at a desk talking on the phone. James leaned against the door frame and watched the workers as they went about their business in the garage.

..."James, come in" Perry stated.

James turned around into the office, where Perry was now standing.

..."You're gonna do some errands for us then?" Perry asked.

..."Yeah" James said.

..."Alright follow me" Perry said.

Perry and James walked through the garage while the same guy was still yelling abuse at the car he was working on, they walked into a parts room at the back of the garage and Perry handed James a box and a car key.

..."This is for the Rancher out back in yard and this box will get you 25 to life in prison, drop them to a guy in Beechwood City at the car wash, across the road from the Homebrew Cafe, his nickname is Ulysses" Perry explained.

..."Do I have to bring anything back?" James asked.

..."Yeah he'll give you a small parcel to bring back, alright. Get going" Perry said.

James walked out of the garage and into the scrap yard out back, he got into the rancher and put the box on the flor on the passenger side of pick up truck and drove out the open gate and headed for Beechwood City. He dropped the box to Ulysses and returned the parcel to the garage, several hours the trip took, due the heavy traffic of the Monday morning.

..."James you're back" Perry said as James got out of the rancher and began walking up the scrap yard towards the backdoor of the garage.

..."Sure am, here's your parcel" James said while he passed the tiny box to Perry.

..."Thanks, look, here's a pen, would you go around the garage, the parts shop next door and the scrap yard and see what everybody wants for lunch" Perry said. So James went around Mr Flanagan's scrap yard, garage and car parts shop and learned everybody's name and got their lunch order and money for it. He had 13 orders to get, so he rang the Cluckin Bell in Cerveza Heights and ordered everything so it would be all ready for him when he got there.

He drove the Rancher down to the Cluckin Bell and retrieved everybody's lunch and drove it back to the garage just in time for lunch. He spent the rest of the day cleaning up around the Mr Flanagans business's and he spent the next two days doing similar things and figured out he was carting around ammunition that was hidden inside filter boxes and empty oil containers.

7th February 2013

James knocked on the door of a big house overlooking the large park in Steinway, it was a house in a street that was filled with houses that all look the same, Mr Flanagan answered the door.

..."James, right on time, let's go" Mr Flanagan said and then walked out of the house and closed the door behind him. James followed him down the stairs and to the roller door of the garage, Mr Flanagan opened the door revealing a jet black intruder with chrome rims and bumpers.

..."Nice car" James stated.

..."Thanks, Mr Flanagan said and then handed James the key to the car and a Glock 17 pistol.

..."We're going to Meadows Park" Mr Flanagan said and then went and got in the backseat of the Intruder.

James drove the Intruder out of the garage and closed the door and then drove it to Meadows Park on the cold overcast day. James parked outside and a watched as another man in a trench coat carrying a suitcase walked from the house and got in the backseat of the Intruder with Mr Flanagan.

..."James this is Mr Walsh, you probably met his brother at the garage the other day" Mr Flanagan explained.

..."I don't know, who's your brother?" James asked Mr Walsh.

..."Byron" Mr Walsh said.

..."Oh yeah, I met Byron, so you two are brothers?" James asked.

..."Yeah" Mr Walsh said.

..."Okay. So there are 15 of you all up?" James asked.

..."Correct" Mr Flanagan said.

..."Good, I know everyone now" James said.

..."Alright, take us to downtown Broker, we have a meeting to attend" Mr Walsh said.

..."Will do" James said and pulled away from the curb.

He drove down to Downtown Broker. James had stay with the Intruder that was parked right outside the small building where the meeting was taking place. After hours of standing outside hoping it wouldn't rain James finally got to leave as Mr Flanagan and his book keeper and second in command Mr Walsh come out the building ad got into the Intruder again.

James then had to drive them to get lunch at a Diner in Hove Beach and then down to Beach Gate and then down to East Hook where he waited by the car for another half an hour while Mr Flanagan and Mr Walsh talked to a boat captain.

As James was driving Mr Flanagan and Mr Walsh to Charge Island to check out a boat warehouse James received a text from Martin and he answered. It said: Saturday Night 7pm, East Hook, Warehouse 256, bring cowboy hat.

..."What's that about?" Mr Walsh asked, referring to the text message.

..."The location of my next fight" James said he put his phone down and let his reply send.

..."You fight?" Mr Walsh asked.

..."Yeah, he fights for Martin Shyskee" Mr Flanagan explained.

..."I see, where is your next fight?" Mr Walsh asked.

..."East Hook warehouse 256" James explained.

..."I may pay it a visit, I assume it's on Saturday Night at 7?" Mr Walsh asked.

..."Yep" James confirmed.

James drove them to warehouse and then took both men back to Mr Flanagans house. Mr Flanagan gave James Friday, Saturday and Sunday off to work on his fighting and also gave him his pay for the week early.

James spent his Friday reading magazines about boxing and mixed martial arts fighting and luckily caught a few matches on Pay Per View at the beer garden on Friday Night and afterwards called Martin to confirm all the rules of the fights and spent most of his Saturday working out a strategy and a fighting style.

Sorry about cutting through so much, but what I originally wrote was long and boring and not written so well, so I cut most of it out, edited the bad bits and added a bit extra to get me through the entire week. Next chapter coming soon.

9th February 2013

..."Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! I am please to announce that East Liberty Underground Fighting League has expanded! With the acquisition of 2 brand new fighters, the use of this and several other warehouses around Dukes and Broker and the addition of official MMA Gloves, we plan to bring top notch fighting as well as Saturday Night entertainment for all. Now without further ado, I present to all 378 in attendance, the first fight of the evening! Introducing First... Weighing in at: 220 Pounds and standing at 6ft tall, he hails from Beechwood City... White Knight! ... and his competitor... Weighing in at 231 Pounds and standing at 6ft 3 inches tall, he hails from Steinway... The Celtic Cowboy!"

Jackson (The Megaphone guy) Walked to the chain mesh that bordered the canvas mat and climbed out leaving James and his opponent standing in the ring, ready to fight, both men were bare foot, wearing proper fighting gloves, shirtless and wearing jeans. James grabbed his cowboy hat with the 4 leaf clover on it and handed it to Ryan, who was there to place bets on James.

..."Fight!" Jackson yelled.

James and WK walked to the center of the ring and James held out his hand for Wk to slap as a form of a quick handshake. WK punched James in the face and then grabbed him around the rib cage and tried to slam him on the ground. James got WK in a headlock and started laying into WK with uppercuts.

WK pulled James's legs out from under him and and grounded James and then started striking James, James hit back instead of blocking the shots, figuring he could take them because it was early in the fight. WK rammed James's head into the mat and then James punched him in the center of the torso knocking the air out WK.

James pushed WK of him and told the ref to count as he got up, WK was up by the 7 count taking his time to regather himself. They squared off in the middle of the ring once again and started throwing wild punches at each other, James getting his eyebrow split open by repeated shots to that part of his face and WK got a blood nose and his top lip split.

James tackled WK to the ground started punching his rib cage before trying to use a choke-hold he'd seen on TV, WK easily reversed this with 4 solid uppercuts to James rib cage. James returned with a huge right hook across WK's face. Both got up and WK went for a roundhouse kick, James caught his leg and WK tried to use his other leg to kick James, but he moved and WK hit the mat face first. Then James did a front flip landed back first on WK's back.

James got up and stalked WK as he got to his feet and James ran at him and tackled him but WK reversed it and used James's own momentum to slam him onto the mat and then try to put him in a "Half Nelson" James used his free arm to punch across the top of his own head and directly into WK's forehead.

WK Let go and James rolled to his feet and raised his fists as WK did the same, both men wasted little time and started punching each other and this time blocking each others punches when they could, after a solid minute of pure boxing James caught WK on the chin and knocked him to the ground and he didn't answer the refs Ten Count.

..."Your Winner, the Celtic Cowboy!" Jackson shouted into his Megaphone. James stood victorious in the ring not only happy because he won the 500 dollar prize money, but he was set to receive over two grand in bets his asked Ryan to place for him. James was awarded his money and climbed out of the ring and walked to the back of a warehouse where an off duty paramedic and long time fan of underground street fighting was waiting.

..."I can't believe how much has changed in a week, he's got a huge new space to fight in, he's got sponsors, he's **** organized" James said as he sat in a chair while the Paramedic cleaned his wound.

..."I think he's had this in mind for a long time, I heard he made a pretty big during the week, he convinced some real estate dude to sponsor this" Ryan said while he got James's boots of his bag.

..."Yeah, no matter what, this is awesome. It feels legit" James said as he took the boots from Ryan and started putting them.

..."Yeah and you gotta work on your technique, getting punch in the face by your opponent doesn't wear them down as much as you think" Ryan joked.

..."I don't know, maybe I could test your theory for you, you know, I'll punch you in the face until I get tired" James joked as the paramedic started bandaging over the glue that he put on James's eyebrow to seal the wound and let it heal on it's own.

..."Yeah you want fight" Ryan joked with a silly smirk on his face.

..."Alright I just gotta drop some money off to Martin and then we'll take off, pass me my shirt and my shoes" James said. Ryan took James's shoes out the backpack his was carrying and handed them to James who put them on quickly and then put on his shirt as they walked away from the Paramedic.

They found Martin sitting on a ledge on an old couch watching the fights above everybody else.

..."Martin, here's your 50 and thank you for letting my fight" James said trying to sound respectful.

..."No problem, I'm inviting you back next week, I've already got a challenger picked out of you, anyway, same time, same place, see you then" Martin said.

James and Ryan walked to the door of the warehouse where they met two slutty looking women with large assets.

..."Hey Cowboy..."One of the girls said seductively while grabbing James's arm.

..."Where you learn to fight like that?" The other one asked. James looked at Ryan.

..."Ryan here taught me" James said.

..."Ow... Do you fight Ryan?" The Girl not holding James's arm asked.

..."I used to, but you know, being in my forties, I gotta step aside and let the young guys show off their talents and make money" Ryan bragged.

James knew he was bullshit, Ryan was only 26, but he looked a bit older because he had been a criminal for 10 years.

..."Wow, you don't look a day over 30 and you were a fighter?" One of the girls said admiring Ryan's facial features.

..."I was pretty qucik back in the day, I dodged most strikes you know" Ryan bragged.

..."Awesome, well I'm Cynthia" One girl introduced herself.

..."I'm Georgia" Said the girl hanging onto James's arm.

..."My real name is James" James said.

..."I'm still gonna call you Cowboy" Georgia whispered into James's ear.

..."Do you guys want to go and party somewhere?" Cynthia asked.

..."Sure" Ryan said.

The group walked out of the warehouse and got into Ryan's Dukes (Muscle Car), the girls climbed over the seats and sat in the back and Ryan and James sat in the front.

..."So where's the place to party nowadays?" Ryan asked trying to stick to his old guy routine.

..."The Nightclub in Downtown Broker" Georgia responded. James looked at Ryan and Ryan tried to gesture with his eyes that he had no idea either.

..."Let's go then" James said and Ryan turned the car on and the 7.4 Liter V8 roared to life and they sped up the road power sliding around the first corner.

Ryan found the club easily and parked the car near by and the group walked to the club door, the Bouncer let Cynthia and Georgia in straight away but hooked the rope up before Ryan and James could get in.

..."Oh dear, there seems to be rope in way, what am I going to do!" James said in a sarcastic voice and then stepped over the rope.

..."Hey what are you doing?" Yelled the bouncer who wasn't very big.

..."Going inside" James said

..."Oh no, I broke the rope!" Ryan shouted after knocking the velvet rope off it's hook.

..."Don't panic Ryan, it'll be okay" James shouted as both James and Ryan began making a big deal over it.

..."Can't you just let them in?" Cynthia asked the bouncer.

..."Please... Look at what they're wearing" The Bouncer scoffed. Referring to jeans and T shirts they were wearing.

..."You're not really a fashion statement yourself. Buddy" Ryan said referring to the bouncers Black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

..."Look you're not getting wearing those clothes" The Bouncer stated. James and Ryan shrugged and started taking their shirts off.

..."What are you doing?" The Bouncer asked.

..."Taking these clothes off, then will you let us in?" James stated.

..."Look man, just let them in, we're sick of waiting" Someone yelled from the line that was forming behind James and Ryan.

The Bouncer very frustrated by that point just let them into the club where they danced and drank for a few hours and ended up back at Cynthia and Georgia's apartment where they spent the night, James with Georgia as she had a weird fetish for cowboys and Cynthia with Ryan because she like "Sophisticated Men".

 11th February 2013

James drove the rancher across the East Island Bridge heading to Bohan to deliver ammunition that was hidden in crates, labelled as being new rims; they were being delivered to the Spanish Lords in South Bohan. He was wearing a Bandana and sunglasses to hide his black eye and busted eyebrow. He was also moving delicately due to several bruises on his chest and stomach.

He drove to the garage in South Bohan and dropped the boxes off and took a large envelope back to the Parts store in East Island City and gave it to Mr Walsh as he was doing the books for the business. James noticed Allan was having trouble removing the door of an wrecked car they were taking apart so they could sell the parts.

James went and held the door for Allan so he could use both hands to remove the rusted bolts and take the hinges off, James helped Allan until Lunch Time when he was able to leave to go take care of some personal matters, such as: finding an apartment or a house or something to live in. He goes to the new apartment building on the west side of Steinway but there was nothing open that he liked. He looked around for an apartment above a shop, but he couldn't find anything available.

James decided to go home and look around again the following week, he walked back to his garage and as he got close to ruins of his house, he noticed a red Feltzer parked outside and a woman standing by it smoking while staring at the house. James walked up to her curiously.

..."Can I help you?" He asked as he took his sunglasses due the sun being blocked by by the Algonquin skyline. She turned and looked at James and her blank facial expression turned to one of surprise.

..."James?" She said. Then James realized who he was talking too.

..."Bridget?" He said. They hugged in a moment of joy. They hadn't seen each other since James's court hearing.

Bridget is James's old sister by one year, at the time of their mothers death she was putting herself through College working as a bar maid and occasional stripper. When her mother was killed she dropped out of College and began working as a bar maid full time instead of part time like she was. Even though she wasn't expected to do any good after dropping out of College, she got a job as a bar maid in a night club and worked her way into a job as a Bar Tender and she earns over 1200 a week, in her regular pay and tips.

..."When did you get out?" Bridget asked as they released each other from the hug.

..."Friday before last" James said happily.

..."When did the house burn down?" She asked with a tear rolling down her cheek.

..."The same day" James said.

..."Where are you living now. What was left after the fire, where's dad?" Bridget asked all at once.

..."Calm down. I got a few things from the house, I saved the Photo Albums, I live i the garage and I haven't seen dad since the afternoon I got out, he got called to a meeting and I haven't seen him since" James explained.

..."Look can we go somewhere else, I don't really want to stand out here all night" James asked.

..."Huh? Oh. Yeah..." She muttered and put her cigarette out and invited James to get in her car. They both got into her car.

..."Seeing the house like this is making me sad anyway" Bridget said as she pulled away from the curb and drove down the street.

..."Do you wanna go and get some dinner or something?" Bridget asked.

..."Sounds good" James stated.

Bridget drove them to a restaurant in Cervaza Heights, where they got a table and ordered their food and began talking.

..."So how's everybody else?" James asked while they waited for their food.

..."Well when was, the last time you talked to Tommy?" Bridget asked.

..."Moms Funeral" James said.

..."Wow, you've missed a lot then... He's an Engineer, he owns a big house in Alderney, and he’s married, has a baby boy and a daughter on the way" Bridget explained.

..."**** hell, 28 and he's got all that!" James said amazed.

..."Yeah not bad, considering he was meant to be the **** up" Bridget stated.

..."Success or **** up, he's still a ****" James said.

..."I know... Joanne is a mess, a depressed, alcoholic, nymphomaniac stripper, a nice arrest record consisting of drunk and disorderly and public lewdness, I reckon she'll be dead in 5 years" Bridget explained their younger sisters situation to James.

..."You don't think she'll see 25?" James asked.

..."I do not" Bridget said bluntly.

..."What about Mark?" James asked.

..."Mark has only gotten worse from what Grandpa tells me, they are counting down the months until he's 18 and they can kick him out, only 14 to go" Bridget explained.

..."Man our family is **** up" James stated with a chuckle.

..."**** yeah... You and Joanne won't speak to each other, Tommy won't acknowledge our existence unless we turn up to his house in suits and fancy dresses, Mark won't speak to any of us and dad even at 46 years old, disappears for months at a time" Bridget said.

..."Remember the good old days?" James asked.

..."Like when Mark finally realized what dad did for a living and bragged about dad drug lab and all the "Deadbeats" He killed" Bridget said.

..."Then that Swat Team raided the house in the middle of the night and Mark had to explain to Mom, Dad and the Swat Team, that he was lying to impress people" James continued.

..."Then they dragged my boyfriend out of my room naked, they found him hiding under the bed, that was when Liam met the family for the first time" Bridget reminisced.

..."And the last time as well, dad was not happy at all" Bridget added.

They continued talking all night and finally parted ways around 10 pm when the restaurant closed for the night.

--------------

12th February 2013

James met Mr Flanagan and three members of his crew: Jesse, Philip and Perry (Perry was considered the Senior Muscle, he was the fourth highest man in the gang, behind Byron Walsh, Benjamin Walsh and Mr Flanagan) in the garage at 5:00 in the morning, they stood in a half circle all facing Mr Flanagan.

..."Good, you're all here" Mr Flanagan said and then turned around opened the trunk of a car.

..."There is a drug lab in BOABO the guys there are supplying the independent dealers that keep popping up in our territory, you four are going down there to smash it, steal everything, beat up everybody there and tell them, I get my cut of everything that happens around here" Mr Flanagan said as he handed out Kevlar Vests, baseball bats and Remington 11-87 Shotguns.

..."There is a Stratum waiting outside in the yard, don't wreck it" Mr Flanagan said.

They walked out the back of the garage and get in the station wagon and drove down to BOABO, they parked outside a apartment building and got out the car and went inside. They began walking up the stairs, they each had jackets covering there Vests and ski masks on, Perry was carrying a shotgun and had a silenced Pistol in his belt. Philip had his shotgun on a strap and it was slung over his shoulder and he was carrying a baseball bat as well. Jesse and James the two newest guys in the gang were carrying only Baseball bats.

They reached the fourth floor of the old apartment building and went to the only non boarded up door on that floor. Perry and Philip pointed there shotguns at the door and got ready to charge in. Jesse breathed deeply to contain his nerves and kicked the door in. All four charged in and Philip pointed his shotgun at one of the drug cookers.

..."Smash the **** place" Perry ordered as he charged into the next room looking for the guy in charge.

James and Jesse started hitting things with the bats, tipping over tables, smashing beakers and pots and Philip ordered the 3 drug cookers into one corner and held the shotgun at all 3 of them making sure they did nothing stupid. Jesse opened an old fridge that wasn't plugged in and found a large stash of Marijuana, **** and Mushrooms.

..."Well, well. seems we got some party supplies" Jesse joked as he closed the fridge and began looking for something to carry it all in.

Perry marched the drug supplier and his two bodyguards in from other room at gun point, they looked in horror at the smashed drug lab. Jesse and James opened the other door and found where they were growing the Marijuana and upon further search they also found a bathroom that had mushrooms growing in there, with the toilet, bathtub and sink all full of dirt as well as many pots and small garden beds all over the bathroom. Bags of fertilizer were stored in the corner of the Weed growing room. They came out of the room to report what they found.

..."A very expensive looking Weed Operation in there and a very dirty looking shroom farm in the bathroom" Jesse stated.

..."Alright, smash it and ruin everything" Perry said.

..."No, stop, what if we gave you money" The drug supplier suggested.

..."How much!" Perry said while jamming his shotgun in the face of the drug dealer.

..."All of it, you can take all of it, just don't wreck our Hydroponics or our stashes" The drug supplier stated.

..."Where is the money!" Perry shouted.

..."In a metal box behind the fridge" The supplier said. James went and looked for it and found it easily.

..."Yeah, it's here" James said while showing the open metal box full of money.

..."I found some duffel bags" Jesse shouted as he was looking around the weed room.

..."Bring them out" Perry ordered.

Jesse brought them out and James flipped a table back up right so he could put them on it.

..."Fill them up and smash everything" Perry ordered.

..."No!" The supplier shouted and then one of the bodyguards went for Philip and Perry shot him in the head with the silenced pistol.

..."Trent!" The Dealer shouted as he scrambled to Trent's dead body and Philip booted the supplier in the stomach.

Philip and Perry held their weapons at the group while they were cowering in fear. Jesse and James were shaking from seeing some get killed right in front of them, but they tried to ignore the fear and continued packing all the drugs into the bag. They went into the weed and mushroom rooms to smash everything, it took them ten minutes to completely dismantle everything and smash it beyond repair.

They dumped all the fertilizer all over the plants and mushrooms and stomped on them and crushed them all and did whatever else they could to ruin everything.

..."Done" James said as he and Jesse walked out of the room and shut the door behind them. While they were destroying everything Perry and Philip had tied everybody up and left a knife on the floor on the other side of the room. They grabbed the duffel and bags waited at the door with Philip. While Perry stood over the supplier and talked down him.

..."From now on, if you deal on Flanagan's Turf, you pay Mr Flanagan his cut and if you don't like it, go deal somewhere else, because next time, we'll burn your **** drug lab down. With you inside it" Perry threatened.

The group of four walked out the drug lab and down the stairs with Jesse and James carrying the drugs and money and Philip watching their backs as they walked out building and Perry leading the way. They loaded everything in the Stratum and drove away while up in the drug lab, the drug supplier, his remaining bodyguard and the three drug cookers were trying to work together to get across the room to the knife left on the floor. They were struggling because Perry and Philip and had weaved the ropes and duct tape which effectively tied all of them together.

Perry, Philip, Jesse and James while being supervised by Mr Flanagan spent the rest of the day in the garage sorting through the drugs and disguising them as things they could deliver to buyers. Byron spent his day arranging buyers for the drugs and at the end of the day Mr Flanagan gave all four men $1000 cut of the money they got from the metal box.

Thanks Wetbizket, I'm having a lot of fun writing this story, I'm glad it's being enjoyed. I'm finding it much easier to focus on one character, and write most things from his point of view but in Third Person. And the fight scenes, especially one on one fight scenes are much easier to write in third person.

14th February 2013

James waited outside Mr Flanagan house in Mr Flanagan's Intruder while Mr Flanagan was inside his house gathering up everything he needed for the day. Mr Flanagan came out of his house in a trench coat and hat and walked quickly through the rain and got into the back seat of his car and made sure nothing important got wet.

..."Go to the bank on Dukes Boulevard first" Mr Flanagan said.

..."Alright" James said and pulled away from the curb and began driving to the bank.

..."James. I heard you were a bit shaken up after what went down in that drug lab on Tuesday" Mr Flanagan said.

..."Yeah, a little bit, I've never seen anybody get killed before, I've seen dead bodies before, but yeah, never seen them die in front of me" James stated shrugging it off like nothing when in fact it still bothered him.

..."Well it gets easier every time you see it happen" Mr Flanagan said..."Best thing to do, is not think about it and remember why that person deserved it, like if he had gotten hold of Philips weapon, you might not be here right now, and to that matter, he was a drug dealer, and you know what effect drug dealers can have on peoples life" Mr Flanagan explained.

James just nodded and took in everything Mr Flanagan just told him. James pulled the car over outside the bank after a few minutes of silence. Mr Flanagan got out of the car and walked into the bank leaving James waiting in the car listening to whatever was on Liberty Rock Radio, nobody in Flanagan's crew listened to anything else. Mr Flanagan came out of the bank and got in the car.

..."Drive over to Savannah Avenue, I gotta drop something off" Mr Flanagan said.

James drove the Intruder over to Savannah Avenue and parked outside a house just of the intersection where Mr Flanagan got out of the car and walked over to a house and knocked on the door. James rolled his window down to see who Mr Flanagan was talking to.

..."Hello Mrs McReary" Mr Flanagan said to a old lady who answered the door.

..."Donny, it's good to see you" She said in a sweet voice.

..."I'm just dropping something off for Gerry" Mr Flanagan said and held out an envelope.

..."I'll make sure he gets it" Mrs McReary said.

..."Thank you" Mr Flanagan said.

Mr Flanagan walked away from the front door as Mrs McReary shut the door and walked back inside.

..."Alright, head to Downtown Broker, I have to buy a present for someone" Mr Flanagan said.

..."Alright" James said and started driving towards Broker.

..."Who was that, back there?" James asked.

..."An old friend of mine's mother, I owe my old friend some money and that was what I gave his mother" Mr Flanagan answered. James knew not to ask any further, considering how new he was to crew.

James parked the car near a large alleyway and Mr Flanagan got out and walked down the alleyway. He entered a door and a few minutes later came out with a long narrow gun case in one hand and suitcase in the other hand. He put them in the trunk of the Intruder and got back in the Intruder.

..."Alright, take me back to the garage" Mr Flanagan said. James nodded and began driving to the garage in East Island City.

..."Mister Flanagan, have you ever spent time in prison?" James asked just trying to break the silence.

..."Yeah I did 6 years from 1988 to 1994 for a murder I allegedly committed in 1986, during a alleged war between the Irish Mafia and the Lupisella Crime Family" Mr Flanagan explained.

..."How did you get by?" James asked.

..."I had a good reputation on the streets and I had a lot of friends, how did you get by?"

..."I learned to fight and kept my back to walls" James said.

..."Good plan for a short timer" Mr Flanagan said.

They were silent he rest of the trip back to the garage where Mr Flanagan gave the long gun case to Perry and took the box to his office and put it his safe and then took the Intruder home, leaving James at the garage. James looked around and there was nothing happening so he grabbed a broom and started sweeping all the dirt and dust out of the garage.

James returned home that afternoon after the rain had stopped and the clouds had broken up and bright orange of the setting sun was breaking through. James stopped and seen his father sitting on his chopper staring at the house. James walked to his father and stood beside the bike.

..."When did this happen?" Tommy asked his son.

..."A few hours after you left, they shot the **** out of the house and then chucked a couple Molotov Cocktails through the windows" James explained.

..."Did you see who did it?" Tommy asked.

..."No, I assume they were after you" James said.

..."Most likely, we are at war with the Angels of Death again" Tommy explained.

..."So where have you been?" James asked in relation to Tommy's last statement.

..."Creating an Alibi, for a hit" Tommy said.

..."So what's the war over?" James asked.

..."The Angels killed our Chapter president" Tommy explained.

..."I see" James said.

..."What did you save from the house?" Tommy asked.

..."I saved the photo albums, like mom would have" James stated.

..."I see. Where are you staying?" Tommy asked.

..."I've set up a space in the garage, I've been looking for a new place for a while now" James explained.

..."Okay. I know there are some vacant places down on the corner of the Dukes Boulevard and Dukes drive, cheap and only a couple of years old" Tommy said trying to help his son.

..."There is only a fuel depot down there" James said.

..."No, in 2010 RON, moved their depot to Bohan Industrial and someone built a fewof industrial storage buildings, but he converted them to apartment type places after he realized the cost of putting heavy duty freight elevators in each one of them" Tommy explained.

..."Alright, I'll go and check them out, thanks dad" James said.

..."No problem" Tommy stated..."How else knows about the house?" Tommy asked.

..."Bridget seen it the other day, I guess she told, Tommy, Joanne, and Mark" James said.

..."Okay, well I'm going back to the clubhouse, you know where to find me, if you want anything" Tommy said.

..."Yep" James said.

..."Bye" Tommy said as he started his chopper and rode away.

James watched as he rode away from the house and then looked at the remains of the house and thought about his mother.

..."**** it, I need a drink" James said and started walking up to the beer garden.

16th February 2013

James and his opponent: High Voltage, stood in the middle of the ring with their fists raised, both had just been introduced and now they were about to fight. High Voltage pretended to strike with his left hand and caught James in the cheek with his right hand and then High Voltage used to opportunity to tackle James to ground and started laying into him.

James blocked as many punches as he could and eventually was able to lock a tight grip on High Voltage's left arm and drag him to the ground and off of James. James used his leverage to get High Voltage in a headlock and started striking at random, everywhere but his face and then when he wasn't expecting it, punching him in the nose.

High Voltage lashed out and forced James onto his back and rolled out of the headlock and dropped a big right hook on James, leaving a deep cut on James's cheek. James threw a return shot of his own and caught High Voltage on the chin.

James got to his feet slowly, dazed from High Voltage's last shot. High Voltage pounced on James, wrapped his arms around James's waist and threw him through the air and drove him to the mat. James was getting angry because of how full on High Voltage was. James began swinging his elbows back as High Voltage tried to pick him up and do another one. James elbowed High Voltage in the stomach and got released. James turned around and started throwing punches, hitting High Voltage in the right eye with his right fist and left eye with his left fist. High Voltage pushed James away and he fell over and created some distance between them.

High Voltage charged James, but James grabbed him by the arm and forced him to do a front flip and slammed him on the ground and held onto his arm and tried to work it into a hold that was cause High Voltage to give up, but High Voltage fought out of it he and James grappled with High Voltage for an advantage but ended up just punching each other and eventually broke away from the mat grappling and created a bit of distance between them.

They didn't waste any time and got hold of each other again. James doing a front flip over High Voltage and slamming him on the mat. High Voltage drag James over him using the momentum and punched James in the side of the side of the head and tried to put James in a choke hold. But James fought out of it and tried to get High Voltage in one, they grappled into a position where High Voltage tried to go for a Triangle choke hold. But James punches High Voltage in the ribs and High Voltage let go and then James dived on him.

But High Voltage put his knees up and James landed on High Voltage's knees. James fighting through the pain rolled away and stood up while trying to ignore the pain. High Voltage jumped to his feet and both men raised their fists and squared off in the middle of the ring once again, High Voltage gained the upper hand in the punch off and James grabbed him in a bear hug. High Voltage head butted James three times before James let go off and High Voltage and then drove him to the mat with a tackle.

James got his feet and took a second to breath while High Voltage laid flat on his back after the tackle. High Voltage got up and tackled James around the legs and dropped him to the mat and started striking at his face, targeting a cut in his forehead caused by the head butts.

James started returning the shots and eventually got free from under High Voltage and got to his knees and threw himself at High Voltage shoulder first, and both hit the mat once again, they both got to their feet again and started throwing punches and blocking them, until High Voltage kicked James in the stomach, James fell to the ground and High Voltage used the bottom of his foot to kick James in the head, again targeting the cut on his forehead.

James got up and rushed High Voltage and locked him into a bear hug again, but this time he slung High Voltage over his shoulder and slammed him on the mat and High Voltage punches James in the side of the head and wrestled free of the bear hug on the ground.

High Voltage got up and took the valuable seconds of rest as James got up slowly, doing the same thing. They got ready to punch it out again and then High Voltage punches James in the throat. James fell to the mat and coughed Horrendously and spat on the mat, the clump of saliva was filled with blood.

James got up and started laying punches all over High Voltage and High Voltage started throwing them back, they eventually started grappling while still throwing punches, they were having an organized fight anymore, they were just beating the hell out of each other. They got near the edge of the ring and High Voltage slammed James's head against the steel pipe that bordered the ring.

James didn't waste time and elbowed High Voltage in the stomach and grabbed hold of High Voltage and slammed High Voltage against the chain link and then threw him to the ground. High Voltage shook his head and groggily got to his feet and raised his fists and called James a wimp. James walked gingerly to the middle of the ring and raised his fists.

James's face was covered in blood from the cut on his forehead, the deep cut on his heavily swollen cheek, his chest, stomach and back were starting to bruise as was the front of his throat, his bottom lip was split and elbow was cut open and his jeans were ripped up the right leg.

High Voltage was bleeding from cuts around both eyes and his nose was obviously broken with a steady stream of blood running out of it, he was getting serious bruising around his rib cage and his stomach. His pants were also ripped, below his right knee was completely missing.

They stood face to face, staring eye to eye and High Voltage spat in James's face. James flew into a rage and punched High Voltage in the left cheek with his right hand and his right cheek with his left hand, causing High Voltage to stumble backwards a little bit and with no time between any punch; he gave an uppercut with his right hand, right on the chin of High Voltage. High Voltage fell flat backwards and crashed flat on his back on the mat and stayed there.

..."He's out" The Ref called.

..."Your Winner, by Knockout! ... The Celtic Cowboy!" Jackson shouted.

The audience cheered in Appreciation of the brutal fight they just witnessed, Ryan and Oliver helped James out of the ring and carried him to some crates in the corner of the warehouse where they sat him down with his gear. Ryan took a phot o of James before they cleaned him up, so James could remember it.

Oliver went off and collected the money he made from bets and watched as some of High Voltage's guys carried him out of the ring. Oliver returned to James and Ryan and hid the money as he noticed Martin was heading towards them as well.

..."James. I want to thank you for that, that was one of the best fights I've ever seen and I've already been informed that videos of that are going out over the internet already, it's good advertising. So here's a grand for you to keep and you won't be scheduled to fight anyone next weekend unless you want too" Martin said and then handed James a thousand dollars.

..."Thanks, Martin. I'll... I'll let. You know. I-If I can fight..." James said groggily.

Ryan took the money off James and put it in his bag and then gave James his shoes to put on, as well as his shirt and then they helped him outside and into Oliver's Cavalcade and they drove him to hospital to get him checked out, especially his throat as there was still blood in his Saliva.

19th February 2013

James walked out the small bathroom at the garage and went and took his seat at the round plastic table, he sat in the plastic chair, he was relieved as there was no more blood in his urine or Saliva and his bruises were starting to hurt less. Also sitting at the table was Oliver who was toying with an old radio, Simon, who was talking to his brother Jeffrey who was leaning on a large tool box next to the table and Max who was reading a magazine.

Then Ryan and Jesse walked in the door of the garage and walked over to the table and placed 4 Cluckin Bell bags on it and then Ryan grabbed the last vacant chair and Jesse grabbed a short stool on wheels and dragged it over to the table.

..."Oliver: Spicy Chicken Wrap and an eCola. Simon: Fried Chicken Burger with the lot and a Sprunk. Jeffrey: A Stuffed Pollo Todo Frito and eCola. Max, gets a Fried Chicken Burger with salad and Fries and a Sprunk. James gets 15 Cluckin Nuggets with Ketchup and an eCola. Jesse gets 10 Cluckin Nuggets with a two wings and a eCola and I get a Spicy Chicken Wrap and an eCola" Ryan listed as he unpacked the bag and handed everybody their food.

..."Where is everybody?" Perry asked as he walked through the garage door.

..."We're all here, Mister Flanagan is in his office and Mister Walsh is doing the books in the garage office" Oliver explained with a mouth full.

..."Nobody else is here?" Perry asked.

..."Nobody" Oliver said. Perry said and walked into the closed parts store as the rain outside started again.

..."We're suppose to be having a **** meeting and half the crew is late" Perry yelled as he walked through the door that connected the two business's.

..."Oh Yeah, James, I got something for you" Ryan said and then pulled a piece of paper sized yellow envelope from one of the bags and opened it. James took it from him and pulled out the contents and laughed as it was a large picture of him just after he knocked out High Voltage, the previous weekend. He had blood mixed with sweat covering his face and look of determination on his face that made it a really good photo.

..."Thanks Ryan" James said as he put the photo back in the envelope and sat it beside his meal.

A few minutes later as the group was talking an Infernus Jeffrey seen the previous Monday, Byron, Allan and Arnie walked through the back door soaking wet and carrying a duffel bag each.

..."Whats going on here?" Byron asked.

..."We could ask you the same question, what the hell have you got in the bags?" Ryan said.

..."Ammo" Bryon said as he and the other two carried the bags into the parts shop to hid the bags of ammunition.

Not long after James and the others finished their lunch Philip, Randy and Jack walked into the garage and joined everybody at the table and they began talking with them. Perry, Byron, Arnie and Allan came out of the parts store and took seats near the table also and Benjamin Walsh realized what everybody was doing and rolled out of the office on his chair and sat by the table as well.

Mister Flanagan walked out of the parts store, carrying a padded folding chair and as he walked across the garage his phone rang and he checked to see who it was and then answered it and put it on speaker, so everybody could hear as he sat down.

..."Antonio Bianchi, and what do I owe the pleasure?" Mister Flanagan said.

..."Donald Flanagan, it's been a long time, I see you still have my number" Antonio stated.

..."Of Course, I never delete numbers" Mr Flanagan stated.

..."Of course you do, but enough the pleasantries, I understand you had a run with a good friend of mine recently" Antonio said.

..."Who would your good friend be" Mr Flanagan asked.

..."A man known as Jeremy Assad" Antonio said.

..."Yeah, I believe I did, you see he wasn't showing me the proper respect" Mr Flanagan said.

..."No, you were refusing his payments" Antonio said.

..."That is complete bullshit, he didn't offer anything, I did what was necessary" Mr Flanagan said.

..."Ha ha ha ha. You were always funny, Donald. You were always greedy too. Your actions just proved it" Antonio said.

..."I was never greedy and never will be, now get to the point" Mr Flanagan stated.

..."You pay for the all damages you caused Assad and his gang and nothing bad will happen" Antonio threatened.

..."You mean his gang of drug cookers and bodyguards... He isn't getting a god damn dime and if I catch him on my turf again, he will have more problems than some damaged goods" Mr Flanagan threatened.

..."Last chance you **** dickhead, give Assad his money and drugs back, plus what you owe him or else" Antonio yelled into the phone.

..."Antonio, you can go to hell, you ignorant piece of ****, we settled our differences back in 09, but if you want to charge back into war for that Bastard, then go right a fucken head, you want to **** on our truce go ahead. Just remember, who called who, begging for the truce last time" Mr Flanagan yelled into the phone and then hung up.

..."Right down to business then" Mr Flanagan said with a sudden change and tone and temperament.

21st February 2013

..."You alright James?" Perry asked while examining James's bruises.

..."Yeah, I'm a little sore, I'll be right though" James said as he slipped on the bulletproof vest and began to tighten it on himself.

..."Alright, we all know what we are doing and where we are standing?" Perry asked the same group sitting in the back of a fake carpet cleaning van.

Everyone said "yes" as they loaded their weapons and put their vests on.

..."Alright, just remember Byron and Jesse are above us with a sniper rifle just in case" Perry reminded the group and then turned his attentions to James.

..."Are you sure you're okay with that gun?" Perry asked referring to AK47 sitting next to James as he buttoned up his jacket over his vest.

..."Yeah, my dad taught me how to shoot when I was a kid, I just haven't used one in a while" James said with a confident look.

..."Alright, be on high alert" Perry said and then got out of the van. James checked his Assault Rifle and then got out as well, following Randy who got out just after Perry.

Perry, Randy, James and Max waited as Simon got out last and locked the van up and then the group walked together down the short, dark alleyway and each took the position they were told to take that afternoon while they were scouting the area in the day time. James stood on a wall between flat ground and ramp, directly overlooking where the deal would take place.

He was very nervous but knew he had to hide that fact, because even though he was wearing a ski mask (Just like everyone else from Flanagan's Crew) The Russian gangsters making the deal could detect fear in anybody. He remained calm and waited. With in a few minutes five Russians were walking down an alleyway with one of them holding a duffel bag, the other five had Stakeout 37 Shotguns.

They waited in the exact spot where the deal was meant to happen and then looked around, they nodded to everybody protecting the deal; including James. Then a large group of Russian Gangsters walked in from the other end of the alleyway. All of them had Micro Uzis and a pistols, except for one, who had an M4A1. The Large group was from the Minkov Street Gang and the small group was from the Petrovic Crime Family.

The Petrovic Family despite being very powerful and heavily respected consisted of less then 20 members, with Kenny preferring the use of trusted hired guns such as Donald Flanagan and his crew. Which contrasted with the Minkov Street Gang who were rapidly gaining members and becoming a force to be reckoned with, they were large but not very powerful, but their allies overseas with whom they supplied American made drugs in exchange for weaponry and foreign drugs were very powerful in their respective areas.

The deal went down silently as a representative from either side stepped forward and exchanged the duffel bag for a small briefcase, both representatives stepped back and checked their received items and then nodded once they were sure they hadn't been ripped off. As both sides began move away a sigh of relief fell over Flanagan's men. James especially.

Then shots rang out as one of Petrovics men hit the ground and dropped the suitcase, James immediately looked for where the bullets had come from, he didn't see anything and then he remembered his main goal. "protect the money" James looked at the briefcase and then fired the AK at a sixth man running for the briefcase. He missed completely but it was enough to scare the attacker away. He ran for cover as James fired off small bursts at him to keep him running.

Bullets whizzed past him and the sudden shock of a bullet hitting him in the stomach caused him to lose his balance and fall, he jumped before he fell and landed on his feet behind a dumpster. He looked around and seen two shooters down the alleyway that the Minkov gang just escaped through. James tucked his head back in and breathed deeply, not wanting to lean out and fire back. He looked up the alleyway at the Petrovic Gangsters carrying their wounded man and the money away.

He breathed deeply and leaned out from behind the dumpster and fired the last of clip and then jerked himself back into cover to reload the rifle which he was struggling to do because he was shaking heavily. James looked up the alleyway again and saw Perry and Max shooting passed him and down the alleyway.

James raised his gun as the man who went for the briefcase earlier came out of cover to chase the Petrovic guys but then blood spray from his head and he dropped to ground as a loud shot rang out, almost drowning out the rest of gun fire.

..."Jimmy, get to the van" Perry yelled.

James breathed deeply again knowing he was going to have run around the dumpster and up the ramp where he would have no protection. He held the rifle as steady as he could and gulped. He rose to his feet and run out from behind the dumpster and opened fire at the attackers, spraying the entire clip down the alleyway as he made his way around the dumpster and up the ramp backwards. The clip ran out and he darted around the corner of a building and tried to reload again, but he could barely hold the rifle steady.

James looked as Simon back the van down the alleyway and finally got his gun reloaded and went back to the edge of the corner and watched as Randy ran to him, he nodded and ran to van and opened the back doors right up and waited. Perry and Max both made their way to where James was and then Perry pushed James away from the corner and continued shooting, hitting one of the attacks as they moved up, trying to chase the gang.

Byron and Jesse rushed down a fire escape and jumped off instead of trying to lower it, they got in the van and then Max did and then James got in, Randy jumped in and the van started moving as Perry moved away from the corner and got in as well. He and Randy slammed the doors closed and with in seconds, bullets started hitting the back of the van as Simon sped out out of the alleyway and up the usually busy city street. Everybody had fled or taken cover and Simon made it look like he was fleeing with everybody else due to the large amounts of gunfire.

They arrived at the garage and parked the van inside. Everybody got out and stood back as Ryan, Allan and Philip instantly began cleaning the van out and removing anything that had a bullet hole. As they were doing this Jack came out a small room and began removing the stickers that made up the sides of the van.

..."James you're hit" Jesse said.

..."Yeah a bullet hit me in the gut earlier, the vest stopped it" James said.

..."No. You're bleeding from you're shoulder" Jesse stated.

James looked at his left shoulder and then his right shoulder and noticed the ripped in his jacket, he removed his jacket and the vest and revealed a bullet graze on top of his shoulder.

..."I'll give Arnie a call and tell him to come down... Is everybody else okay?" Perry asked to which everybody started checking themselves for wounds.

..."How's that for a rush?" Randy asked James as he wiped the blood from his shoulder.

..."Not bad, better than what the drugs use to give me" James said with a chuckle.

..."You just keep of them and you'll be alright" Randy said and then patted James on the back, but he made sure he didn't hit any of now yellow bruises.

As the group that was on the protection job stood back and watched as they van was cleaned and re-detailed to escape being identified; Mr Flanagan entered the garage and smiled at his crew as he held up a plastic shopping bag and walked over to the group and handed each of them an envelope with their names written on them.

..."Pay for your job tonight, everybody's regular pay will come tomorrow as usual" Mr Flanagan stated and then headed back to the door allowing Arnie to come in with his kit to fix James's shoulder. Mr Flanagan left without much fuss as Arnie got to work on James's shoulder and Max's leg, which he hurt while running during the shootout. James opened the envelope and counted the $450 dollars and nodded.

-----------------------
James brought Groceries, got his
clothes washed and paid his bar
tab during the day, which totaled
at $427. He spent $75 during the
week.
